How to choose the right awakening when there are hundreds of different programs on the market?
As Mikes writes in his article AWAKENING: A Multi-Billion Dollar Industry (http://www.peacefulself.com/2009/01/awakening-multi-billion-dollar-industry.html), none of the providers offer a guarantee of actual awakening or a refund if the program does not work.
When shopping, a few basic guidelines will be helpful. First, ask yourself and check who these people are, what they are actually offering you, and whether they are awakened and enlightened.
How can you know this before you buy anything from them?
If the sellers present themselves as spiritual teachers, gurus, or ascended masters, you have no chance of truly awakening, at least not with their program.
Their intention is quite the opposite: they want to keep you in the dark for as long as possible so that they can sell you as much as possible. If their large photos are prominently displayed on their website and at all meetings, they are simply show-offs.
Some even sell their photos, body parts (hair, nails), and secretions.
Worshippers wait in line, come to the guru, who spits into a bag and charges them $100. A small set with a tuft of three hairs, two nails, and one spit costs $200.
The guru’s saliva is said to be particularly powerful, as he once spat in a blind man’s eyes, and he regained his sight on the spot.

If they demand complete devotion from you, it is submission, and not awakening.

• buying their energy protections
and countless programs that are constantly escalating and conditional on the purchase of previous versions, such as the rule: “Only for those who have already purchased programs 1 through 15 and who have attended all mandatory meditations and darshan,” and similar meetings at the teacher’s feet, then you are buying servitude and not personal development.
In this case, you are in business, and not in awakening. You will only awaken when you realize this and leave this trade and these merchants, populists, and gurus and spiritual cowboys in general. And then you can really start to awaken.
If the condition for awakening is membership in their organization, paying membership fees, and only paid information, then you are still just in business. It just uses the term awakening as an advertising promise that will never be fulfilled.
If you have been awakening for 35 years, meditating regularly twice a day, chanting all the mantras, begging for beads, staring motionless at the master’s picture on the altar, and you have bought everything they offer you and even brought ten friends, and you still feel nothing, then maybe it’s time to rethink everything.

Awakening means:
1. Gradual awareness of Pure Awareness.
2. Abandoning partial personalities and their harmful mental, emotional, and physical behaviors.
3. Stopping the mind and using this mental tool and energy organ for useful tasks.
This will take you from a few months to a few years at most, depending on your inclination toward Importance and Poverty.
It is up to you how strongly you hold on and how quickly you are willing to let go of your feelings of superiority and inferiority. There is absolutely no reason not to do this immediately or after an hour of trying the exercises. And there are many reasons why you will not do this even after a few years…
How can you become aware of Pure Awareness in just a few minutes?
With my exercises for awakening to Pure Awareness, you won’t wake up in five or ten years; you can wake up in just a few minutes. Despite the rapid initial awareness of Pure Awareness, there is a high probability that you will immediately forget and surrender to your partial personalities.

You can immediately recognize this by the fact that they tell you that you cannot awaken without them. They will imitate Jesus and claim that the path to heaven leads only through obedience and humble submission at the feet of the teacher.

Let me say clearly and immediately that awakening to Pure Awareness, which is part of personal development, is not hard work, toil, and struggle, let alone gut-wrenching and gas-filled discomfort.
Quite the opposite: awakening is letting go of discomfort, and it becomes more and more pleasant. With regular practice, it leads to complete relaxation, inner silence, peace, and bliss.
It is true, however, that spiritual impostors like Jed can drain you to the last drop, so be careful whose feet you choose to lay at.
How to Buy Spiritual Awakening: There are no elites, VIP scenes, or important privileges in awakening
During awakening and later on, there are no ceremonies or rituals, no dramas, spectacles, shows, or circuses with which to publicly or privately entertain, reward, or punish its members.
Being awakened is not something to be celebrated, dressed up for, get drunk and high for, and then act sober, smart, and Important (or Poor) in society.
Among the awakened, there are no public hangings of the unawakened or other falsely awakened, and no roadside corpses as traffic warnings to unbelievers on their way to hell.

As Beings of Pure Awareness, the awakened are all the same, differing only in the roles they play. They are constantly and clearly aware of these fundamental differences between the player and the roles.
The awakened do not associate with others to mutually subordinate, dominate, and exploit each other. By abandoning their own harmful partial personalities, they eliminate all internal and external conflicts. Nevertheless, the unawakened may be in unilateral conflict with them.
As beings of Pure Awareness, they live in such a way that they act with love and wisdom for the common good of all. This is also for the benefit of the unawakened, even though they are not yet aware of it.

1. Observation:
Observe your thoughts, feelings, emotions, words, postures, movements, and actions.
2. Stopping:
When you notice harmful thoughts, feeling uncomfortable, expressing negative emotions, speaking harmful words, tensing your body, and/or behaving in destructive ways, stop immediately. If possible, sit down or lie down. If necessary and possible, leave the scene of the harmful activity.
3. Breathing:
Breathe in and out and begin to relax. Breathe deeper and slower.
4. Alertness:
Pay attention to your body and relax the tense parts until you are completely relaxed. It is best to always have the same approach. Start at your feet and slowly work up to your head.
5. Relaxation:
When your body is relaxed, feel your energy body with attention. The easiest way to feel it is around your hands and feet. You will feel the energy body slowly calming down as well.
6. Awareness:
Become aware of your Awareness. Simply become aware that you are aware. This will shift your attention from the physical and energetic body to Pure Awareness, to your Being.
At the same time, you will notice that you have immediately and easily stopped the mind and all thoughts. The physical and energetic body will also become completely still. Be in Pure Awareness for a while and enjoy.
7. Review:
In this state, then review the harmful behavior and happenings. Do not comment on it, do not look for the culprits, and do not judge anyone. Just review it neutrally from beginning to end. Observe if you react mentally, emotionally, sensationally, or physically to the events. Harmful thoughts, unpleasant feelings and emotions, and tension in the physical body may reappear. If any of these occur, repeat the exercise from the beginning.
8. Diary:
Write the harmful behavior in your awakening diary. This will help you to clear the harmful behaviors from your mind and body, and will also serve as a reminder for the next time similar behaviors occur.
9. Decision:
Make a decision not to do it again. You may benefit from the statement, “I am a loving being.” Add to this your new resolve: “I do not curse, I do not lie, I do not judge, I do not steal, I do not trample…” etc. And, “I am kind and friendly to everyone and always speak the truth.”
10. Observation:
Observe your thoughts, feelings, emotions, words, postures and movements, and actions.
Be strong, determined, and consistent.
