Every day you have over 50.000 thoughts in your head. That is too much to write all of them. Write only excuses, objections, judgments, lies, threats and curses. Add thoughts about fear, shame, guilt, Importance, Poorness, disappointment, anger, and revenge. For example:
1. I can’t, I don’t like, I don’t want, I hate, I can’t stand, I am too old, etc. (self-pity)
2. I don’t have luck, I don’t have time, I don’t have money, I don’t have nerves, etc. (evasions)
3. F… me, f… you, f… all, etc.
4. I am the best, I am most beautiful, I am the smartest, I am Important, etc.
You can say that you are the best and or that somebody else is the best but not in a bragging way.
When you hear these thoughts, listen to the silence, stop the mind and stop thinking, breathe in and out. Relax.
In internal silence, you are aware and ready for new thoughts to appear. Listen to them and if they are harmful, don’t choose them and develop further. Stop the mind, breathe in and out and relax.
Every time you hear these thoughts write them in the diary. If it is possible to have it with you, otherwise try to remember the most significant and frequent ones. You can also write them as SMS to your phone. If you forget them don’t worry. Until you are fully awakened they will come back.
Together with your thoughts watch your body feelings, emotions, face mimics, posture, and moves. With awakening, you are becoming more and more aware of your mental, emotional, physical state and activity.
When you notice harmful thoughts, feelings, emotions, words and or actions, stop them, listen to silence, breathe in and out and relax your body. Watch other people, too, who don’t know the difference between awareness and unawareness. As unawakened they are still melded with mind and body as tools. They are still just roles and are not aware of the Real Player.
Unawakened doesn’t know that there is awakening and that there is something more than him as a role.
Or he knows about it but he prefers to stay in old, »safe« and known role in fear before unknown, but true him. Or he doesn’t want to think about it and he enjoys in the comfort of intentional ignorance and drowns in the harmful actions as are addictions.
Ignorance or resistance, there are only two ways: limiting awareness and self-oblivion or expanding awareness, awakening, and Awareness.
