Dear friends, let’s pull out of the hat the last two gods chosen by the author of the YouTube portal MindShift as the 10 gods who are better than Yahweh.

Now we already did Egyptian gods which is technically African but let’s go West African. Let’s go to Ghana and let’s look at Nyame. Nyame is a really amazing God. I think this is the god of the Akan people. This is a god that is wrapped up into a lot of cosmology. This God is credited with the creation of the universe, Earth, and all living beings. It is about total power over the cosmos, so we have some similarities there in terms of Yahweh, but look at some of the not so subtle differences coming up.
This God is a caretaker. This isn’t a goddess; we have a male God who created the cosmos, who is immensely powerful but is best represented as a caretaker, a provider, and a protector. He’s benevolent and ensures and cares about the well-being of all creatures. In the meantime, he’s over there maintaining the cosmos and the natural order of things, but he’s happy to intervene and again create that more beneficial life and society for his creation, not his people group, for all creation. Can you imagine if this was the roots of Yahweh? If this was like the guidelines, then imagine what Yahweh’s Ten Commandments might look like. We wouldn’t waste the first four worrying about ensuring enough worship for ourselves. We wouldn’t have ones in there like “honor father and mother” because I have other Commandments that say I’ll kill you if you don’t. They would be actual good Commandments to increase well-being, safety, and security. Again, we can do better. Man has already done better. Look at all of these examples so far, and Nyame is a perfect example.«
From the description of this god, we can immediately see that he does not exist, because he does not care for the natural order and well-being of all people, indeed not even for one group. Yahweh, on the other hand, “cares” for the fear and terror of his group of “god’s chosen ones” whom he terrorizes and threatens with hell if they do not serve him as servants. For this reason, his first and foremost narcissistic and paranoid commandment to believers is that they should believe in no other god but him. The other commandments are mere embellishments to make the first one even more important.
Fortunately, Yahweh does not exist, and believers can be deprogrammed, sobered, and awakened to Pure Awareness, Freedom, and Truth.

To round out the list, let’s double-dip into Hinduism. I have a soft spot for Krishna, which is kind of a funny thing to say, but Krishna has always been a God that really interests me. He’s the eighth Reincarnation of Lord Vishnu, one of the principal deities in Hinduism. His life and teachings are accounted for in the Bhagavad-Gita, which is one of the very first non-biblical holy books that I ever read, and I remember, even at a pretty young age, thinking like, “Man, does God seem proud, problematic, Yahweh.” But it didn’t matter because this was some made-up God, and mine was real. But anyways, let’s talk about Krishna.
These are some of the best descriptors I can think of for a god: wisdom and knowledge. Still right? That’s wonderful. I definitely want a God that cares about wisdom and knowledge, that is a fan of learning and growing. How about compassion and love? Yes, I would definitely want that on the list. Compassion and love for everyone. Krishna is known for his boundless love.
Not love for a chosen people group, not love if you’re doing the right thing, truly boundless love. He’s a god of playfulness. What a cool concept to have in a God. And he acts as a guide and protector. Isn’t that what we’re all kind of craving at the end of the day? Something higher than ourselves that’s out there, that’s looking out for us but also is willing to truly guide us along, not teach us lessons so to speak, not punish us so we learn better and do better next time, with the end goal of pleasing it more, guiding us from their abundant love, wanting us to learn and grow in wisdom, all the while being playful and kind and protective. Krishna offers solace for any and all that seek it.
Final Thoughts:
Again, I’ve said some beautiful things about many gods here on this list. I don’t believe any of them. None of those are true. And if we tried to make them true, if we built enough stories up around them, if we worshiped and prayed to them, they’d have the same flaws as Yahweh in the end. They wouldn’t hold up their end of the bargain. But in principle, they are leagues above Yahweh. And what I think that I’d want anyone to glean from this most is that all of these other gods are man-made. And in my opinion, and I think a fair one, they are indeed much better than Yahweh. And that’s what man’s been able to come up with, some of these older than Yahweh, from all cultures around the world. Even with their flaws, they beat this all-perfect, all-knowing, all-beneficial God we claim. How much greater than would an actual God be, right? This is the thing I’m always told I have a failure of imagination to understand the very presence and essence of God, of Yahweh. No, I have a realistic depiction from him, from his not-so-holy holy book, and it falls incredibly short of what any deity should be. And we’ve created much better with our limited, man-made imaginations already. It is they who have the failure of imagination to think what an actual good God would be like. I can’t imagine, but I know it’s not Yahweh.«
I remember how decades ago, the orange skinheads used to give away Hare Krishna books for free, mantring and balls-rolling incessantly, so as not to lose touch with Krishna. Today they have a different business model: they stop you and say they have a free book for you. Then they put it in your hands – it’s an old sales trick whereby the person who grasps the product is supposed to feel that it’s already his – and they say, contribute as much as you want. When you ask if the book is free, or if they are selling it, they say it is free and keep on asking for a contribution. When you say that you will not buy a free book because they gave it to you for free, they grab it right out of your hands.
I once opened a Hare Krishna book and read at the end of the introduction that if the book succeeded in creating just one new servant of god, the aim of the book would be realized. At that point, I immediately closed it and never opened it again. The only thing I was missing was the Servants Manual.
Even with Krishna, there is an obvious discrepancy between his qualities and desires for human beings and the real situation on Earth. In myth he sings, dances, and showers people with love, whereas in reality, people are suffering, dying of disease, injury, starvation, and violence. The difference between the fictitious myth and the real reality is stark, just like all the other gods who are “omnipotent”, “omnipresent” and “omniscient”, but even this does not help them to put the order in the universe and give people a good life.
Interestingly, gods such as Yahweh do not even treat their worshipers to a good life in myth, let alone in reality. In the Bible, they are haunted and threatened at every step, and they carry this imaginary fear into their real lives and use it to terrorize others. In their religious frenzy, they claim that even non-believers will go to hell, even though they do not believe in god at all. It is insane that they are so heavily programmed and hypnotized that they cannot distinguish between fiction and reality and drag others with them into the abyss of illusion.
Krishna’s “love, kindness, protection and comfort” are no more real than Yahweh’s jealousy, anger, and vengeance, since both fictional gods and their attributes exist only in myth. The only difference is that the worshipers of the first god have a slightly more relaxed faith, whereas Yahweh has squeezed his servants hard and will be squeezing them mercilessly until their miserable deaths if they do not sober up sooner, abandon their faith, and return him from everyday reality back to fiction.
Let me also tell you that as awakened beings of Pure Awareness, you will not “yearn” for a “guide and protector”, which even now you do not have in the form of god, for gods do not exist. Nor will you need “something higher than us that is out there, that cares for us, but is also ready to truly guide us” because, with my awakening exercises, you will create a new, true, and loving personality that will enable you to live an independent and sovereign life.
In the next and final article in this series, we will also briefly meet Yahweh, the god of Crossthianity, with whom the Karmic people have enslaved more than two billion Earthlings.
All the best to all.
